Questions
What is Monoflip?
Monoflip is a free online property-trading board game for 2 to 8 players. You roll the dice, buy cities from around the world, build houses and hotels, and charge rent until everyone else is broke. It plays in the browser: check in, share the link, and your friends join in seconds.
Is Monoflip like Monopoly?
It's a Monopoly-style game with the same roll, buy, build and charge-rent loop. Monoflip adds a Russian roulette comeback for bankrupt players, a Nuke card the whole table votes on, cards like hostile takeover and teleport, open trades and rent-free landings, so nobody's safe and nobody's out for long.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it's free, and there's nothing to sign up for or download. Open the site, pick a name and a look, and you're in.
How do I play with friends online?
Click Check in to open a new game, then share the invite link or the room code. Everyone who opens it picks a name and boards. The host sets the house rules and starts the game when everyone is on board.
How many players can play? Can I play alone?
Each table takes 2 to 8 players. You can fill seats with bots, or play on your own against bots. They buy, build, bid in auctions and trade to complete their colour sets.
What happens when you go bankrupt?
You get one Russian roulette comeback per game. Three of the six chambers are loaded and every pull is a fresh 50/50 spin. Survive one pull to come back with $500, two to also win back half your cities, three to get them all back. Or walk away.
Can I change the rules?
Yes. The host can set the starting cash, salary and start bonus, and switch auctions, mortgages, double rent on full sets, the Vacation pot, even building and rent in prison on or off, as well as the prison fine.
